Una sesión de Claude Code de ejemplo pasada por los hooks de este mod, en tu navegador. Lo que pinta se pinta. Ficheros, red, procesos y modelo no se tocan: cada llamada sale listada bajo el terminal con el valor de mentira que recibió.
Es una simulación: un mod que depende de una respuesta real enseña lo que hace con una vacía.

Masks personal data in everything tools and files bring into the conversation, before Claude
reads it: emails (a***@acme.com), phone numbers ([phone ···678]), Spanish DNI and NIE
numbers ([ID]), IBANs ([IBAN ···1332]) and card numbers that pass the checksum
([card ···1111]). The status line counts how many it has hidden. Turn on the prompts option
to mask what you type as well.
What it does not do:
- It finds data by its shape, so names and postal addresses go through untouched.
- It changes what the conversation keeps, which is what the model reads. What the screen draws as a tool runs may still show the original.
- Claude only sees the masked value, so a task that needs the real one (writing to a customer, fixing a typo in an email) cannot use it.
It touches prompts and the conversation (session.append, tool results only) and display
(the status line). It sends nothing anywhere.
